I'm Christopher Allan, founder of School Avoidance Solutions (SAS). With a strong focus on supporting young people's mental health, I'm dedicated to improving outcomes for those affected by school avoidance.
Qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and skilled practitioner in Solution-Focused interventions and evidence-based Parenting support, I've successfully implemented strategies to address mental health challenges and promote student well-being in Schools, Colleges and Universities.
With experience in local authority Children Services' I provide early intervention and support for young people and families, emphasising mental health and school avoidance.
I hold a Postgraduate Degree in Leadership and Management CYP and IAPT Services (Mental Health) from the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families – University College London, along with a Postgraduate Degree in Enhanced Evidence-Based Practice for Children and Young People (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) from the Charlie Waller Institute at the University of Reading. Leading SAS, our mission is to address school avoidance and promote positive engagement in education, making a difference for children, young people, and families facing these challenges.
